Yet so many business owners have no idea of this very simple business principle, they get all caught up in the euphoria of having a new business and doing things that they lose money, their equity or liquidity as their business hurtles towards bankruptcy, and they do not know why blaming everything but themselves. You should all know by now that “if you can’t measure it, you can’t manage it” so unless the owner has accurate monthly financials he or she will have no idea what is working and what isn’t in their business.
