I was obsessed with haiku poetry in high school. I also wrote a lot of short stories. I knew I had a box in the bottom of my closet with everything I had written in the first 20 years of my life, and when I went digging, I found it! I'm taking a break from The Wizard Of Oz to read you some of the poems and verses I wrote in 1998, my last year of high school. From the sounds of it, it was also a reflective and emotional year, but I can hear myself in these words just the same. I hope you enjoy them.
